Along with the other high quality services that we offer at Big Country Vets, we have a full service pharmacy on the premises.
Having a full service pharmacy on site is important. Because medications can be needed for your animal's health, we want to make sure that it is as easy as possible for your animal or your herd to get the medication it needs.
There would be no use in prescribing something if you weren't going to be able to obtain it. Vets also double as animal pharmacists so they can prescribe the medication and get it to your animal or herd as soon as possible. This makes the whole process that much easier for you as an owner and it allows your animal to heal quickly.
The prices for the medicines that we offer in our pharmacy rival or are competitive with most other pharmacies, including on-line pharmacies.
Ordering your Rx Refills:
Ordering ahead will ensure that you won't have to wait. If you give us an hour or more, we'll have it waiting for you, all set to go, as soon as you walk in the door.
We keep a close watch on your animals and their medications. Some medications do require periodic blood tests. We will be keeping you informed if those are needed.
